A minor earthquake struck the eastern town of Marj on Saturday, local residents reported.
The residents said they felt the tremor at 9:00 pm local time.
A German earthquake monitor, GEOFON, reported that the 3.9 magnitude earthquake had a depth of 10km.
The earthquake frightened the residents, but there have been no reports of injuries or structural damage.
