Commander of the Protection Guard and Naval Police of Tripoli Naval Base confirmed the arrest of five people suspected of belonging to Haftar's forces, disclosing that among them is a brigadier general, and an officer with the rank of captain, as well as three other officers.
The operation took place off the coast of Zawiya after a maritime patrol of the Volcano of Rage Operation suspected a boat off the coast of Zawiya and arrested those aboard, according to the Protection Guard and Naval Police of Tripoli Naval Base commander.
He also added that the men were handed over to the maritime police at Tripoli Naval Base and that details of the incident would be published later.
