Man-Made River administration in southern Libya announced Monday the start of maintenance for the main valves at the control system at Shuwarif station, saying the operating teams were also ordered to shut down wells at the Hasawna area and the pumping stations as well to allow service works to take effect.
The maintenance will last 9 days during which water supplies from Hasawna wells will be cut, according to the administration.
