The Civil Aviation Authority of the Ministry of Transport on Tuesday held a meeting to discuss the upcoming visit of the Maltese civil aviation delegation expected to take place next week.
According to the media office of the authority, the meeting, which was attended by senior officials, was called urgently to discuss the necessary arrangements for the visit of the delegation.
It is expected that the delegation will conduct a field visit to Mitiga Airport in Tripoli next Saturday in order to survey the airport facilities to ensure that it complies with procedural specifications recommended to reach operational standards before approving the resumption of flights between Libya and Malta.
