The Maltese Ambassador to Libya, Charles Saliba has emphasized his government's support for the initiative put forward by the Presidential Council (PC) head, Fayez Al-Sarraj, to end the crisis in Libya.
This came during his meeting Wednesday with Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha, at the ministry's HQ in Tripoli.
Several files were tabled at the meeting, including bilateral cooperation in the field of investments and the illegal immigration issue, in addition to the political impasse in Libya.
The two sides also reviewed the possibility of the return of the Maltese Embassy in Libya as soon as possible.
