Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Council (PC), Ahmed Maiteeq held talks with Italian Interior Minister, Luciana Lamorgese in Rome, on Friday, over means to curb illegal immigration.
Lamorgese affirmed her government's continued cooperation with the Libyan side to face the migration issue.
For his part, Maiteeq emphasized during the meeting the need to support the municipalities that share migrant flows, as well as the migration shelters under the Libyan Ministry of Interior, according to the ministry's Information Department.
