The Deputy President of the Presidential Council (PC) , Ahmed Maiteeq met on Monday, with the Deputy Director General of the General Water Desalination Company, Abdul Salam Al-Ruwaimi, and the technical advisor and a member of the Board of Directors, Adel Salim.
During the meeting, which was held at the PC’s HQ, they reviewed the difficulties and obstacles facing the company's work to provide usable water to municipalities and cities suffering from water shortage.
Maiteeq called on the company to present its work plan during the current year and specify the necessary amount of money to carry out and complete the required maintenance for the desalination plants in the municipalities as soon as possible.
