The deputy head of the Presidential Council Ahmed Maiteeq reiterated Tuesday the support of the Government of National Accord (GNA) to the anti-terrorism force to be able to work well and carry out training for its personnel inside and outside the country, analyze data, depict suspects and detain wanted terrorists wherever they are.

These remarks came in a ceremony at the Al-Khums training headquarters of the anti-terrorism force, celebrating the graduation of the force's fifth batch in the presence of Defense Minister Salah Al-Namroush, Chief of Staff Mohammad Al-Haddad, the commander of the force Mohammed Al-Zain and several military officers.

Maiteeq said GNA's strategy in fighting terrorism isn't just via military and security work, but also through a comprehensive work to end terrorist acts in their source along with paying attention to development, education, ending poverty and raising awareness to achieve peace.
