The National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced on Saturday that the total losses, due to the closure of ports and oil fields, exceeded six billion, 147 million dollars, subsequent to 161 days of forced closures of oil facilities.
The announcement comes one day after the NOC reported that a group of Russian mercenaries belonging to the Wagner Company stormed the administration buildings of the Sharara oil field, which is the largest oil field in Libya.
