Libya's oil production has dropped to 181,576 barrels per day, bringing the losses to over one billion dollars, the National Oil Cooperation (NOC) disclosed on Friday.

The NOC emphasized that it would continue to provide fuel to the eastern and central regions in sufficient quantities, in order to meet the needs of consumers.

However, it indicated that some areas surrounding Tripoli and the southern region are suffering from a lack of supplies due to the deteriorating security conditions.

NOC renewed its call to end the "irresponsible and illegal violations against its facilities" and to allow the resumption of oil operations immediately.
