The management of the Libyan Man-made River said its eastern valve had been reopened and water supplies started to pumping to the cities as the output reached its highest capacity.

The management called on people to rationalize their use of water and urged those who had been vandalizing the valves and wells as well as those stealing water supplies to end such illegal acts.

On Sunday, the management of Man-made River said the full capacity of water supplies output would be reached this week after cutoffs in Tripoli and other areas due to a total blackout in the region.
