An informed source from Sharara oil field confirmed that the field's production has hit 295 thousand barrels per day, according to Reuters.

Sharara field, the largest oil field in Libya, located southwest of the country has resumed production on August 8, after facing two unplanned closures.

The National Oil Cooperation (NOC) was forced to declare force majeure on crude shipments from the Port of Zawiya, due to interruption of supplies from Sharara field in late July, after an armed group closed a pipeline linking the field with the port.
