The Libyan High Council of State (HCS) has condemned the killing of illegal immigrants in Mizda town, which is under Khalifa Haftar's control, saying it is a crime against humanity.

The High Council of State said Saturday that this crime speaks of the viciousness of the perpetrators that are working in human trafficking amid the present dilemmas in the country, including the ongoing aggression on Tripoli.

The High Council of State urged the relevant authorities to take the needed measures to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Meanwhile, Libyan Interior Ministry is investigating, through Mizda town's security department, the murder of a Libyan national and 30 illegal immigrants from Bangladesh and African countries in the town.
