The Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry, called the Libyan counterpart, Najla Al-Mangoush, and discussed the latest developments in Libya.

Egyptian Foreign Ministry's spokesman, Ahmad Hafiz, said the phone call between Shoukry and Al-Mangoush reviewed bilateral relations and the efforts to implement the Libyan Political Dialogue Forum's roadmap as well as the pertaining UN Security Council resolution to ensure the country’s security and stability.

Shoukry invited Al-Mangoush to visit Egypt soon, as part of the joint cooperation and coordination efforts between the two neighboring states, and the Libyan Foreign Minister accepted the invitation as the date of the visit would be announced later.
