A patrol boat of the Libyan Coast Guard rescued 108 illegal immigrants off the coast of Sabratha on Monday, Libyan Coast Guard said on Facebook.

The Coast Guard added that those rescued included 13 women and seven children and were of different Arab and African nationalities.

The migrants were taken to an immigration shelter in Zawiya city.

Last week, 65 migrants have been rescued, while five other bodies were recovered by Libya's Coast Guard off the coast of Khoms city east of Tripoli.
