Libya's Coast Guard has rescued 90 illegal immigrants, mostly from Somalia, aboard a rubber boat, 95 miles northwest of the city of Al-Khums.

Libyan Naval Spokesman, Brigadier General Ayoub Qassim said the migrants included 7 women, two of whom were pregnant.

The migrants were brought to Hamidiya landing point in Tripoli, on Wednesday morning, and were provided with humanitarian and medical assistance before being handed over to the competent authorities, according to the Libyan Navy.
