Libya's Ambassador to the United Nations, Taher Al-Sunni, stressed the necessity of documenting all attacks against civilians, medical personnel and field hospitals in Libya.

This came during his meeting with the Director-General of the International Committee of the Red Cross, who expressed the organization's concern about the humanitarian situation in some areas in Libya, especially in the current crisis.

He also expressed the desire of the President of the Red Cross, Peter Maurer, to visit Libya at the earliest opportunity.
