The Libyan Consulate General in Istanbul started on Saturday to conduct Covid-19 analyzes for 200 Libyan nationals through a medical committee at Turkish hospitals.

In a statement, the consulate added that further tests will be carried out to another batch consisting of the same number.

It explained that these tests will be conducted for around 600 people on a daily basis.

It's important to note that the Anti-Covid-19 Supreme Committee decided on April 8 to make recommendations with respect to solving the problem of the Libyans stranded abroad and to review a mechanism to bring them home.
