The Libyan embassy in Kiev has issued a statement informing Libyan nationals planning to travel to Ukraine to verify their documents after many were turned back upon their arrival to the country on the background of problems in the visa arrangements.

The embassy said in a statement on Facebook that it considers the safety of Libyan nationals in Ukraine a priority, emphasizing harnessing all its capabilities to help the Libyan community solve their problems and keep them updated with the laws and legislation in force in the hosting country.

The coming days will witness an improvement in entry procedures, says the embassy, confirming that it will be in constant communication with the authorities in Ukraine to remove the existing obstacles.
