The Supreme Judicial Council emphasized its rejection to the latest Human Rights Watch (HRW) report, which refers that Libyan judicial institutions were operating at a low pace.

In a statement Monday, the council called on HRW to be more accurate and to ensure that their information is obtained from reliable sources.

"Libyan courts are operating in an intense rhythm and with outstanding efforts and did not collapse despite the difficult situation the country is going through," the statement reads.
