The Libyan Red Crescent held its second partnership meeting with its partners from the International Movement, with the support of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) and the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in the capital Tunis.

The Libyan Red Crescent presented a strategic plan for 2019-2023 and shared the vision and objectives with partners to obtain support and expertise for building the capacity of the association and developing its work on the administrative and field level, according to the director of the Information Office of the Libyan Red Crescent, Bahaa al-Kawash.

Al-Kawash pointed out that the partners praised the efforts of the volunteers and staff to establish a strategic plan and vision, in order to seek emergency response and work to alleviate human suffering in Libya.
