The National Anti-Money-Laundering and Counter-Terrorist Financing Committee issued a decision to determine the foreign currency allowed to be brought into or taken out of the country at the individual level through the Libyan outlets.

Chairman of the Committee - the Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) - Saddek Elkaber, put a ceiling of $ 10 thousand or its equivalent in other foreign currencies, for the funds allowed in or out of the country at the individual level, according to Sada Al-Jamarek newspaper.

Any amount exceeding the amount specified in the resolution should be disclosed to the Libyan Customs authority, by filling out a form for currency disclosure, according to the resolution.
