The Libyan Prime Minister Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah and Italian Interior Minister Luciana Lamorgese reiterated in a meeting in Tripoli on Wednesday that the two countries need to activate cooperation in immigration issues.

The media office of Dbeibah said the two officials also talked about the ongoing developments in Tunisia and their impact on immigration.

The Italian Interior Minister, who also met with the Head of Anti-Illegal-Immigration Apparatus on Wednesday - two days after the Italian Foreign Minister Luigi di Maio visited the country, reiterated the need to communicate with Libyan Interior Ministry regarding illegal immigration.
