Al-Multaqa Al-Watani (The Libyan National Gathering LNG) was inaugurated Saturday in the cities of Gharyan in the west of the country and in Barak Al-Shati in the south.

The municipality of Gharyan called on its citizens through its Facebook page to participate in the gathering in order to engage meaningfully in the future of the country.

The LNG will discuss several issues, most importantly the priority of the incoming government and the need to unify the military and security institutions, in addition to the separation of powers and the necessity of having a constitutional process and elections.

On the other hand, the LNG in Barak Al-Shati was launched under the slogan "Join in; your participation will make the difference". The LNG targeted most segments of the city, including senior figures, activists, and civil societies, and will discuss the mechanism of improving the situation in the south and facing the challenges that still lie ahead.
