The Turkish Defense Ministry announced Monday that it had concluded a training program on air defense systems for Libyan military personnel in Konya, central Turkey.

The Defense Ministry said in a statement that the Libyan military cadres who received the training in Konya went back to Libya, adding that the program was part of the military cooperation and consultation agreement between the two countries.

The Turkish Defense Ministry also said that the 20 Libyan military personnel started the training program on January 11 and received information and practices on using anti-drone missile systems, radars and modern artillery.
