A medical team returning from a six-month stint in Italy reviewed their practical experience at the hands of Italian doctors, at a meeting on Monday with the Vice President of the Presidential Council (PC), Ahmed Maiteeq.

The team, who performed clinical work in the military hospital over the six-month period in Italy, covered work in both isolation and critical care departments, which were devoted to the treatment of patients suffering from the Coronavirus infection.

The Media Department of the PC said that the returning doctors from Italy confirmed their sincere desire to pass on their experience to medical personnel working in Libyan hospitals.

They further stressed the need to develop cooperation with Italy in order to benefit from its vast experience on the pandemic, in order to develop the health sector in Libya
