Mayor of Souq Jumaa, Tripoli, and committee coordinator of Libyan Municipalities Forum, Hisham bin Yusuf, said that all mayors in Libya agreed to exert more pressure on the dialogue committees of the House of Representatives and the High Council of state to accelerate the formation of a unified government in the coming period.
Ben Youssef clarified in a press statement that the Committee will hold a joint meeting on April 20 with the chairs of the dialogue committees, in the presence of the UN envoy, to push for resolving the political crisis, describing the conflict between the two committees as "conflicts of interest."
Ben Youssef pointed out that they are currently considering taking alternatives, which he did not disclose, if their meeting with the two committees fails.
