Libyan health minister holds debt talks with Turkish counterpart

Health Minister Ali Al-Zanati has discussed with his Turkish counterpart Fahrettin Koca the debts owed by the Libyan state to Turkish health facilities for treating Libyan patients.

The two ministers discussed on Friday in Istanbul several files of common interest, including strengthening health cooperation between the two countries, and exchanging experiences.

Minister Al-Zanati is visiting Turkey to participate in the technical workshop held within the the Turkish-African Partnership summit, organized by the Turkish Ministry of Health.

The guests were invited to share views and exchange experience on ways to mobilize capacities and capabilities in the epidemic and post-epidemic era.
