The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Presidential Council (PC) denied that Neville Gafà, who assumed the identity of Malta's Prime Minister's envoy, has visited Libya as a personal envoy of his government.

The ministry said on Facebook that Java requested a visa to visit the HQ of the Maltese embassy in the capital Tripoli, stressing that he was granted the visa on this basis.

The Ministry confirmed that it was not involved in the setting of any official dates announced with officials or ministers, adding that he was just a mere employee in the Maltese government in the capital Valletta.
