Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohammed Al-Qablawi said that the international situation towards Libya is rigid and the Security Council, until this moment, has not been able to take a position towards what is happening in Libya.

"The United States can contribute to breaking the current impasse in the international community towards Libya if it intervenes effectively," Al-Qablawi told Sputnik on Saturday, indicating that deputy head of the Presidential Council (PC), Ahmed Maiteeq is using every opportunity in his meetings with US parties to mobilize support for the Government of National Accord (GNA).
