Libyan Foreign Minister, Mohamed Sayala called on the UN Secretary-General, Antonio Guterres to hold a Security Council session on Libya during the UN General Assembly in late September.

The two sides discussed on the sidelines of Tokyo conference, the role of the UN mission in Libya in restoring stability and ending the aggression on the capital Tripoli, according to the Information office of the Foreign Ministry.

They also discussed the mechanism of establishing a common ground among the influential states to solve the Libyan crisis.
