A group of Libyan firefighters has completed a training course organized by the Turkish Konya Municipality in cooperation with the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency TIKA.

The 20 Libyan firefighters received their certificates in a ceremony organized by the Konya Municipality on Sunday after completing a 12-day course.

The trainees received training on disaster management in local governments, search and rescue, dealing with traffic accidents, and first aid.

The deputy mayor of Konya, Mustafa Ozbash, gave a statement during the ceremony and wished the trainees success in performing their duties.
