The Libyan Embassy in Ankara has denounced the threats of warlord Khalifa Haftar to Turkey, saying that they harm friendly relations between the two countries and would cast a shadow on the political and economic levels.

"The Government of National Accord (GNA) will do its utmost to perform its duty in protecting Turkish interests and companies operating in Libya," The Libyan Embassy underscored, calling on Turkish citizens for the kind and good treatment of Libyans in Turkey and to overlook the hate speech of what it called some outlaws who seek to provoke sedition between the two nations.
