The press attache of the Libyan Embassy in Tunisia, Ashraf Al-Rajhi, said that the Libyan debts owed to Tunisian private clinics amounted to over 200 million Tunisian Dinars.

"The Libyan state would repay the debt within two to three months, on the bases of an agreement reached during a recent meeting between the two sides," the Tunisian Mosaic website quoted Al-Rajhi Saturday.

He also assured cancer patients that there will be no problems regarding their therapy because their medical bill will be deposited in advance.

Official data showed that Libya's public debt is continuing to soar amid the deteriorating economic situation, where it reached 39 percent in the first quarter of this year.
