The Assistant Secretary General of the Arab League of States, Hossam Zaki, confirmed that the Libyan crisis can be solved.

Zaki told Wednesday the journalists accredited to the Arab League that the 2017 statistics show that Libyans themselves want a solution but there are obstacles and those obstacles need Arab and international consensus to reach a solution.

He noted that the Arab League Secretary-General, Ahmed Aboul-Gheit, will continue cooperation with the Arab League envoy in Libya on a regular basis, adding that Aboul-Gheit will visit Libya in 2018, and that there are strong international efforts to resolve the Libyan crisis.
