Libya's Coast Guard has rescued 94 immigrants off the Libyan coast, the Interior Ministry has confirmed.

The ministry's information office said that the vessel "P300" affiliated to the General Administration of Coastal Security picked up the immigrants, who are of different nationalities, from a rubber dinghy at the sea, noting that among them were ten women and two children.

The migrants were disembarked at the immigration drop-off point at Tripoli Port, where they received all humanitarian and medical assistance in cooperation with the International Organization for Migration before handing them over to the Anti Illegal Migration Authority, according to the Interior Ministry.
