A patrol boat of the Libyan Coast Guard has rescued Friday 75 illegal immigrants, including three women, north of Zuwara coast.

"The migrants consisted of different African and Arab nationalities," the Libyan Navy clarified through Facebook.

The rescued migrants were handed over to the Nasser shelter of the Anti-Illegal Immigration Agency in Al-Zawiya city, after providing them with health and humanitarian services.

On Tuesday, the Libyan Coast Guard confirmed the rescue of 38 migrants north of Garabulli area, east of Tripoli.
