The Libyan Coast Guard rescued 137 illegal immigrants off the coast of Tripoli on board rubber boats on Thursday.

The Coast Guard reported on their official account on Facebook on Thursday that the migrants were of African and Arab nationalities, including more than 19 women and 4 children.

The illegal immigrants were transferred to the Tripoli Naval Base, and were received by the accommodation section of the Illegal Immigration Agency where they were provided with accommodation services, medical examinations and all necessary assistance.

The Zawiya branch of the Coast Guard announced on Wednesday that they had rescued 125 illegal immigrants off the coast of Zawiya from different African nationalities.
