Libyan Army says pilot of aircraft shot down by its forces is wanted for war crimes

Commander of the Joint Operations Room, Major General Osama Juwaili has said that the pilot of the aircraft yesterday near Zawiya city west of Tripoli, identified as "Amer al-Juqam", is accused of committing war crimes in Tripoli and will be held accountable according to the law.

The Media Center for The Volcano of Rage Operation has confirmed in a statement that an arrest warrant was issued for Al-Juqam by the Military Prosecutor’s Office on the 18th of April on the backdrop of shelling the residential Al-Intisar neighbourhood, located in Abu Salim Municipality where around 6 civilians were killed.
