The Libyan Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Government of National Unity (GNU), Najla Al-Manqoush, held telephone discussions on Friday with the Italian Foreign Minister, Luigi Di Maio, on methods of following up on the outcomes of the Libya Stabilization Conference, which was held in Tripoli on October 21.

Di Maio indicated, in a statement, that the phone call also touched on bilateral cooperation between both countries, as Al-Manqoush confirmed that the ownership by the Libyans themselves of their country’s issues is essential to the success of the transition process towards democracy, according to the Italian news agency, AKI.
