The Head of the Libyan American Alliance Essam Omeish said the hearing for Khalifa Haftar case at the east Virginia federal court will be on July 29.
Omeish said that the call of Haftar's attorney to freeze the lawsuit and prevent a default judgment against Haftar on the pretext of the closing date of presidential elections in Libya is a desperate attempt to avoid such a ruling against Haftar for war crimes and murders against Libyans.
He also described the petition submitted by Haftar's attorney as a way to trick the court and a description far from the true Libyan scene.
