Libyan Airlines pledged in a new statement to amend the prices of its tickets in compliance with the new exchange rate, taking into account the difficult financial conditions the people are experiencing nowadays.

The airline added that it had prepared a thorough economic study to adjust its prices, and was approved by the Minister of Transport Milad Matouk.

"The reasons that prompted the decision to raise prices were the considerable material damage suffered by the company, following the loss of a number of new aircraft, in addition to the closure of several external stations due to the European air embargo on Libyan aviation, the airline explained.
