Libyan Airlines is to operate a flight next Monday, to the Czech Republic and another to the Ukrainian capital Kiev on Tuesday to bring back the Libyans stranded abroad in these countries.

On its daily update on Facebook, the Libyan Airlines confirmed that it had conducted two flights yesterday, one to Tunisia and another to Turkey as part of its operation to bring back stranded Libyans back home.

Another two flights are also expected to land in Misurata Airport later today, carrying passengers from Berlin.

The route of the emergency flights operated to bring back Libyans abroad was changed from Mitiga Airport to Misurata, due to the continuous attacks by Haftar's militias on the airport, where several civilian aircraft were severely damaged, including A320 plane that was hit while preparing to take off to Madrid to bring back those stranded in Spain.
