The spokesman for the Libyan Foreign Ministry, Mohammed Al-Giblawi, said Venice Court of Appeals ruled for Libyan consulate in Milan and rejected a lawsuit from Italian firm, SCT, that called for 7 million dollars in compensation.

Al-Giblawi said the lawsuit against the Libyan consulate aimed to seize bank accounts and deposits for the Libyan state.

He added that the Libyan consul in Milan, Salim Jamoum, and the team of lawyers reiterated from the start of the case that there was a forgery of the Tripoli Court ruling for SCT firm. The ruling was annulled by the Italian court.
