The Head of the Libyan High Council of State Khalid Al-Mishri reiterated in a meeting Saturday in Tripoli with the visiting Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar continued cooperation with Ankara against Khalifa Haftar's forces.
Al-Mishri and Akar stressed continued coordination to repel any attacks by the outlawed and illegitimate Haftar's forces, discussing as well the latest developments on the political scene in Libya and confirming shared vision for a solution in the country via peaceful and political dialogue for all parties.
Akar and the Turkish military delegation arrived in Mitiga airport in Tripoli and were welcomed by Al-Namroush, Chief of Staff Mohammad Al-Haddad and military zones' commanders, in addition to Turkey's ambassador in Libya.
