Ministry of Health of the Government of National Unity has said that Libya tops the international list of traffic deaths, with 73.4 deaths per 100,000 people.

The Ministry held a scientific seminar on the preparation of the 5th global report on road accidents, during which the Libya Report on Road Accidents was adopted. Representatives of the ministries of health, interior and transport, as well as a representative of the World Health Organization attended this seminar.

The participants in the seminar stressed the need to adopt the national strategy for protection from road accidents, while the Ministry of Health urged citizens and all institutions to cooperate with the traffic police, calling on all road users to comply with traffic laws and regulations.
