The Libyan consulate in Tunisia expressed gratitude to the Tunisian government for preventing the ministry of Foreign Affairs in the parallel east-based government from holding a press conference on its territory, in the context of the fact that the interim government is not recognized by the international community.

The Libyan Consulate commended the position of the Tunisian government, which supports the internationally recognized government based in Tripoli.

On Saturday, the Tunisian authorities banned Libyan Foreign Minister Abdul Hadi Al-Hweij from holding a press conference at the Novotel Hotel in Tunis.
