Deputy Prime Minister/ Minister of Health Ramadan Abu Jinnah discussed with Turkish Ambassador Kenan Yilmaz on Monday aspects of cooperation between the two countries in health aspects.

At the outset of the meeting, the minister welcomed the ambassador and the delegation accompanying him, praising his efforts to advance the Turkish-Libyan relations towards broader prospects that serve the interests of the two nations, a statement by the Health Ministry's media office said.

Discussions covered several topics, mainly sending Turkish medical teams to run Libyan hospitals.

For his part, the Turkish ambassador expressed his country's desire to widen the scope of cooperation between the two countries in various fields, including those related to the health sector.
