The "Security Cooperation Committee with Tunisia" has held a meeting with a number of Tunisian security officials to review the decision made by the Libyan Interior Ministry with respect to closing Ras Ijdeir crossing-border, following the problems that faced Libyans at the border.

Talks held on Tuesday discussed the possibility of opening new lines at the border and improving the treatment of Libyans travelling to Tunisia, according to Libya's Interior Ministry.

The two sides also reviewed the measures agreed upon between Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha and his Tunisian counterpart in order to overcome this problem.
