The Libyan Foreign Ministry has discussed in Tripoli the means of financing to be submitted by EU countries to Libya and the International Organization for Migration for the country.

Discussions were held during a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Tripoli in the framework of the roundtables meetings held by the Ministry with international bodies interested in illegal immigration that travels through the Libyan territory.

Delegates from a number of government sectors and a number of Libyan naval officers were present.

The European Union announced on Tuesday the launch of a new program worth 50 million euros to improve the living conditions and resilience of vulnerable populations in key Libyan municipalities.
